Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Monte Bello Estate in Lemont, IL (45 mins outside of Chicago).

The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm, dinner and revelry to follow.

Hotel

We have reserved a block of rooms for Saturday and Sunday night (Sept. 2nd and 3rd) for your convenience at the Aloft Bolingbrook hotel. This modern hotel is a 20-minute drive from the wedding venue and is right across the street from the Promenade, a popular outdoor mall with numerous dining and shopping options.

How to Get Around: The wedding festivities will take place in Lemont IL, which is 27 miles southwest of Chicago. Driving is the best option for exploring Lemont and the surrounding suburbs during the weekend.

 

Chicago Hotels and Travel:

If you are traveling to celebrate with us from out of town, we encourage you to explore Chicago earlier in the weekend! Chicago is about a 50-minute drive from Lemont IL.

 

Where to Stay: Chicago is a pricey place to stay and holiday weekends always are popular times to visit the city. Book early to get the best-possible price. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

 

• Hotel Lincoln: Located right in Mary and Eric’s neighborhood of Lincoln park, this boutique hotel is located right by a free zoo and a weekend farmers market!
• Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza: If you are a city person, this hotel is right in the middle of all of the excitement of Chicago’s downtown.
• Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile

 

 

How to Get Around Chicago:  From Midway or O’Hare airports, take a taxi, car service, or the ‘L’ (train)  (www.transitchicago.com/airports) downtown or rent a car. If staying downtown, walk, use public transportation, and take Uber and taxis to explore the city.
For fun and sightseeing, rent ($9.95 per 24 hours) a blue Divvy Bike and pedal the car-free Lakefront Trail North along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, or discover The 606, Chicago’s new 2.7-mile elevated walk-and-bike trail.

 

Airports:

Chicago Midway International and Chicago O’Hare are both about 35 minutes from Lemont. IL. Midway is a hub for Southwest airlines and has affordable rates. O’Hare has more flight options and public/private transportation options to Chicago, if you choose to stay in the city before traveling to Lemont for the wedding.
